EURO 5 — ABS PRO STANDARD

Euro 5 update for 2021: lean-angle sensitive ABS Pro and DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) become standard, previously optional. Colour TFT with Bluetooth connectivity, LED flashers and cockpit USB socket added standard. Integrated windscreen adjustment mechanism. The F 850 GS remains the segment reference until its replacement by the F 900 GS (895cc / 103hp / −14kg) launched late 2023.

Successor to the F 800 GS (798cc / 85hp), the F 850 GS is unveiled at EICMA 2017 with an all-new 853cc 270° 95hp parallel-twin developed in partnership with Loncin. Steel trellis frame with engine as load-bearing element, adjustable WP Apex suspension, ABS standard. The Adventure variant (23L tank, +20mm travel) launches in 2019.
