Launched in 2014, the S 1000 R carries the S 1000 RR's 999cc 4-cylinder retuned to favour low-to-mid range: 160hp (118kW) / 112Nm. Aluminium perimeter frame, Ø46mm inverted fork, ABS and Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) standard. Three riding modes (Rain, Sport, Race). A daily-usable superbike roadster at 207kg wet.
