Complete redesign for 2021: the S 1000 R adopts the 2019 S 1000 RR platform (without ShiftCam) — new aluminium composite frame, 45mm inverted fork, 165hp at 12,750rpm, −6.5kg (199kg). 6.5" Bluetooth TFT, lean-angle ABS Pro, Gearshift Assist Pro standard. For 2025, +5hp (170hp), Euro 5+, twin LED headlights, MSR and USB-C.
